9 year old Alvar raised over €12000 as a tribute to his cousin

Last year, nine-year-old Alvar Landén decided to fundraise in honour of his cousin Märtha who lost her battle with cancer. She passed away in the summer of 2016 after a hard battle with the illness. Alvar decided to complete a sponsored 100km cycle ride in five days in memory of his cousin.

Íslandsferð 2021

Team Rynkeby er samevrópskt góðgerðarverkefni sem fagnar 20 ára afmæli á árinu 2021. Verkefnið felst í því að þátttakendur þess hjóla frá Danmörku til Parísar til styrktar börnum með alvarlega sjúkdóma. Árið 2017 tók íslenskt lið þátt í verkefninu í fyrsta sinn. Í ár eru þátttökuliðin 59 með rúmlega 2300 hjólurum og 440 manna aðstoðarliði. Þátttökulið eru frá öllum Norðurlöndunum, Þýskalandi og Sviss ásamt einu samevrópsku liði. Markmiðið er það sama hjá öllum liðunum sem er að safna styrkjum sem allir fara til barna með alvarlega sjúkdóma í hverju landi fyrir sig. Allir þátttakendur bæði hjólarar og þjónustulið greiða sjálfir allan kostnað, bæði fyrir þátttöku og búnað s.s. hjól og liðsföt, þannig að allt sem safnast rennur óskipt í söfnun liðsins.

The Danish Team Rynkeby “Team Vestegnen” has great success with ‘Drive In Bingo’

It can be difficult to raise money in a time marked by corona. But for the Danish Team Rynkeby team Vestegnen, a fun idea has proven to give a fantastic result. ‘Drive in Bingo’ has donated almost DKK 100,000 to children with critical illnesses. And the concept can be used in most places.

Winner of life

The Team Rynkeby - hohes C Nieder-Olm team carried out a Christmas campaign in December 2020. In addition to a successful fundraising campaign, a virtual Advent calendar was also offered, which was filled with stories, recipes, videos and competitions relating to Team Rynkeby. The final competition was hidden behind the penultimate door. Two original team jerseys from the 2019/2020 season were raffled off as the main prize. One of the two main prizes went to Michaela Ruckes, mother of Lukas – and you can find out why this could not have been a more perfect fit:
